It began on a picnic table at Signal Hill, California on a mountaintop overlooking the city of Long Beach. What started out as a simple evening with a few laughs spanned to over a decade apart only to reunite again as partners in life was something we never thought imagined…
Our Story
How It All Began
Little did we know within a single meeting would trigger something that would last forever. We met in a world without Facebook, Messenger, or Instagram being available . After our first initial meeting we lived our lives, apart. We attended school (obtaining multiple accolades), start a career in respectable companies, traveled the world (and still doing so), and working out in gyms is a life we lived and continue to do so. We had our triumphs. We just didn’t know that we were doing them apart from each other. That is until we reconnected.
The way we met was through our mutual friend. This friend of ours had to live in two separate countries and be in two separate high schools in order for us to connect in the first place. It sounded like we’ve forced her to do this but we didn’t! It’s the way life goes and moves. The timing, the places, and how people in this world can move together can form an amazing story and a journey that we never thought possible.
Today and forever is always fresh. Something new to talk about. Something new to experience. Never a dull day. Never a dull night. Even in the most exhausting times whether it’s burnout from work, school, or at the gym we always connect with a common bond to comfort, encourage, and strengthen one another. Even in the quiet times there is peace and on the loud times there is laughter and joy.
Our readers who are reading this now know that we live private and peaceful lives. Away from the “hoopla” in social media. There’s always something to hope for which one can wonder, “What’s going on with them?” The truth of the matter is, there’s so much experiences that we have with each other that there is just so much to post and to say. If you’re into us, read our blog. We hope to pass down our blog to our children one day so that they know the lives we had with each other. We live simple lives without the extravaganza. We plan our lives accordingly with a little spontaneous fun. The most important thing, is that we keep our relationship going in tact under God’s divine blessing. Because without Him, none of this is possible.
Living thousands of miles apart only to come together as one on this day and age is amazing and something we never thought possible. The story is always being continued and never concluded.
