Tucker and I first met on Valentines Day 2016, and it was love at first sight – at least on my end.

I had no intention on getting a pup that day – I was just supposed to be looking around. But he was the coolest pup on the block. While his brothers and sisters were busy trying to get my attention and play with me, he was the chill dude who took the best bed around and promptly took a nap.

I tried to get his attention. I got a toy and tried to lure him with it. I was so happy when he finally lift his head to check me out. He slowly approached me, looked at me… and grabbed the toy from my hand and went straight back to his bed. Thank goodness things have changed as the years passed. I’d liked to think he came to love me as much as I love him. He would then grow fond on Michael when we started dating.

Tucker is a white and tan Maltese-poodle mix born on December 16, 2015. Mind you, he’s not your usual maltipoo. He’s “big” for his breed at 16lbs. Also not a lapdog. Don’t even try – he’ll just squirm away from you. He’s sweet but loud, loving but possessive, smart but stubborn.
